I found an odd 89ish (sorry forgot to verify year) 626 sedan at the junkyard.
What caught my eye were the wheels. I had never seen these ones before... They looked like BMW bottlecaps, albeit 5x114.3 and with mazda stamped center caps. The car was non-turbo, and much to my amazement had factory Dark Grey leather seats.
I haven't seen leather in that bodystyle before. Is it pretty rare? I bought the fronts and rears for my probe, and short of the rears being too tall, they fit quite nicely, and match the darker grey color of my interior perfectly. The reason I ask is because the drivers bolster is worn out on mine. I want to find at least that skin in good shape if not both that and the bottom.
I am going to attempt using a parts store leather repair kit on the big hole, but if that doesn't pan out, I'd like to find a good replacement.
