you could def get a factory subwoofer in the probe. and it was much better then the under seat one offered in the mazda. the probe had it located on the passenger side rear trunk area. i have a few in my garage even. the probes had a under tray where the mazdas had there subwoofer mounted. and you can even unbolt the subwoofer, and the tray bolts right onto the mx6 seats. thats how i always run the mx6 seats when i swap them.

I stand corrected- I'm still learning about these things, and mine isn't stock haha.

Cody, that bumper looks really good, as do the Mustang wheels. I'm thinking about trying some SVO wheels on mine just to see how it looks. I don't suppose you have a spare working DS headlight motor lying around, do you?

Right on, svo wheels. That'll be cool. I think I'm gonna snag a set of these for summer wheels:

I do not have a DS motor, but I can snag one next time I head to the yard

That would be awesome, all we've got around here is 2gs. It's on my list of "**** to replace now that the car moves on its own" (along with brakes, tires, and that stupid Civic STS)

Pat, I think I read somewhere that you said you'd never own another 89GT. May I ask why? Just all the little differences, or am I missing something bigger? I know about the differences in ECU, wiring, injectors etc, as well as the body and interior, is that it?

body style really. the lines in the kit, and just the shape of the bumpers make it stand out as an 80's car. compared to the 90-92's that have a much cleaner body style, and look like there from the 90's.

that, and the fact ive owned like 17 1st gen pgt's. and well over half have all been 89gt's. there the most common. they almost made more 89gt's. then 90-92gt's COMBINED.

the 89's did have a few perks. it was the only year with the dark gray interior. and also the only year that had manual seat belts. but thats the extent of that. the 90+'s had nicer side mirrors, nicer steering wheel, nicer body kit, nicer wheels, nicer taillights. i could really go on forever.
