That looks like a fresh pick-up Matt, means a lot to be able to Inspire somebody, even if we are just talking about Escorts. :p

Finally made my way home and rounded up all the parts Ive collected to this point for a Couple pictures.

Volk TE37 15x6.5 Wheels, wrapped in 205/50 Yokohama Advan AD08 rubber.
    Pierce Motorsports Tubular LCAs
    Ryans (Fe3-323) Rear Spherical bushings
Pierce Motorsports 4 point Front Tie Brace (gusseted)
Pierce Motorsports 2 point Rear Tie Brace
    Suspension Techniques Front add-on Anti-swaybar
    Addco 7/8 rear sway bar
Ultra Racing Front strut bar is on the car and AWR/Roodwerks goodies are lost in my mess of a garage, lol.

Taking suggestions on what color to powdercoat all the Pierce goodies, because it wouldnt be right to slap bare steel parts on the underside of the car!

Just a manual rack out of another BG. Im going to try to do things in steps so I can actually gauge the improvements and provide feedback. I look forward to installing them

I didnt because I will actually have to raise the car for racing which will put the LCA at a positivoe angle at the balljoint.

You'd probably enjoy a de-powered MX3 V6 steering rack over the manual rack to be honest...the lock to lock ratio on the manual rack is stupid high...takes soooo long to turn the damn wheel. The MX3 V6 rack is around 1/2 of that...so nice and responsive there's a how-to on depowering the rack on CP as well if interested.

Ill be depowering this one for sure. Taking all the guts out soon. I can do work just fine with the steering ratio in a stock BG rack, that and I couldnt get a MX3 GS rack as easily. :p

Sadly i havent had the time to really tear into the car while my other project is torn down for improvements. But here is a few pictures showing what I have used it for. O.o To anybody that ever said you needed a truck to do a mans job I say eff you!

Just a little information on this, the MX3 rack will not work in an escort unless you swap to a mazda steering column. The pinions are different, and you cant swap the guts and make a hybrid rack, already tried it.

If you swap to a mazda column though, you can use some of the cool Mazda steering wheels on your car as well

Meh, the rack is rated for 300 lbs. Neither load exceeded it, the hardest part was loading them, lol.

Ive got the Mazda steering wheel swap taken care of. Traded my stocker to my friend that bought my old Tracer, had a Non-airbag MX-3 wheel with a swapped column hub to bolt up like factory. Pic to prove!

So you have just the upper part of the Mazda column swapped and not the whole thing? If so I wish I would have known that before I bought my new Ford wheel. ha

                                Car looks good.
