What did you do to your BG(part 8)

    Increased base timing 6 degrees since I read somewhere the GTX ECU will pull a good chunk of timing with the knock sensor not wired in...and well she's acting like it should be finally lol...only took +2yrs to figure out the issue. I had all my eggs in the "boost leak" basket since it'd build boost, taper off, then build boost again.

    Now she's a 100kph tire smoke machine lol

    Shame the chassis is still buggered up though, might just swap this into the 626 LOL

                  Got the VJ14, oil feed & drain, and charge piping all sorted out and installed in the wagon today.

                  Tomorrow is turbo inlet/intake, modifying the PCV tube, relocating the clutch slave, exhaust, and FMU, as well as pull the octane plug for safe driving until I get the tune fully sorted.

                    I sold it to a friend of mine (with 3 bent B6T rods apparently) a few years ago. He swap in some H-beams and rebuild the HX. But after my dad passed I started the miss the memories so I bought it back.

                      Went to put my power steering belt back on after the water pump pulley decided to let loose. The person that had the car before me didn't know how to wrench, so I had to fix all of his mistakes. A 10 minutes job turned into a 4 hour job. What a fun way to get back into BG's. D:

                            Oh no, my water pump pulley went out while I was on the freeway. Overheated my motor, and had to wait an hour on the side of the road for spare parts to arrive. Took 10 minutes to put the replacement on and tighten it. Driving on the freeway without PS is weird. But hey, it's a BP, it's still running.

The Vj14 exhaust dump tube is in solid contact with the front mount bracket, with no room to exit, so I am waiting on a waterjet place to cut a new downpipe flange. I fired it with no exhaust whatsoever, and it actually was reasonably quiet all things considered. Should be silent when I'm done. It ran great and did not appear to have any boost/vacuum leaks

                              Still need to put the radiator and fan back in, and button a few other things up, but it should be done this week little by little at lunch or after work.

                                possibly popped my front passenger bilstein. damn railroad tracks :/ no space to dig into it yet to find out the results/possible devastation.
