What did you do to your BG(part 8)

well no one else started one yet, and i noticed it was closed last night. so heres the new thread.

last night i had my downpipe welded up and the new oil line fittings put in, no more loud exhaust, and no more junk return routing... i didnt have the section of ss when i originally turboed my car, so the flex ripped a few weeks ago. it was replaced with 2.5 exhaust piping till we make a different down pipe in the future. 2.5 pipe fits right over the cs piping too so i got lucky....lol.... well now the cars quiete, and theres no oil burn out the exhaust from the lack of oil flow...lol...

I drove it to the junkyard and got a few parts. Including a VAF adapter off of a mid '80s Porsche 944.

                  nice pic ^^

I've been tuning my 89 Supra VAF and it's going well, I have it dialed in perfectly now. I had it within 1 click yesterday and my mpg dipped a bit, but I ended up going 1 click rich today and it's running perfect! The power difference is huge, so I'm looking forward to upgrading my exhaust to remove that restriction now lol.

Saturday, I detailed the exterior. Wash, claybar, polish, wax. Yesterday, I replaced the possibly original fuel filter, replaced the flex pipe and installed my Ground Control coilovers. The car is very happy right now.

Now I need to find a hood for it and install my replacement front bumper cover.
