Drivers side mount is trashed, I don't recall if I've ever replaced it.

Rear mount was trashed after only being on the car a year and a half. Front one was looking okay. Filled front and rear with window-weld I had left over from the 240s quarter window replacement. I think the delrin cross-member bushings on non-filled mounts is not a good combination for longevity. Aside from a bit of teeth chattering vibration at idle with the a/c on the ride quality hasn't taken much of a hit. I'd say it feels better than filled mounts and stock blown out rubber bushings.

Whatever factors that were causing my erratic vibration on hard lefts has fixed itself. I wouldn't be surprised if it the old gearbox wasn't to blame for a part of it, the amount of metal I removed from the 5th gear housing alone was impressive.

I'm liking the new box so far, although first is a bit finicky but I need to bleed the clutch again and I have generic 90w gear oil in it because I wasn't putting $50 worth of redline in an unknown condition box.
New box came with OEM output shaft seals which is a good sign. I butchered the drivers side one getting the remainder of the CV shaft I asked them to leave in for shipping. I bat about 50% on getting those to be reusable. I threw the old passenger side seal onto the new one. It's only a year old or so and those never get damaged from cv removal/install.

Came with a speed senor that fixed my 30mph oscillation.

I don't think the neutral switch it came with is working proper. I didn't think to check it before installation. I might of just plugged it in poorly.

The throttle lift shifter vibration is back with a vengeance. I'm going to have to jam more socks in the mid-console.

The gear selector arrived with a rubber sleeve bushing inside the bolt area. I've never noticed that on parts diagrams and I'm wondering if this wasn't a shop fix for a loose shifter. I installed it. I was also glad to have another one of those offset shoulder bolts as mine was on it's last legs.

I definitely went over the recommended shop hours for a pull and replace, but it was humid as hell and I took my time
I hope you didnt put a gl5 fluid in there. The GL-5 will eat your brass syncros.

I'm glad the detail level of my post gave you any doubt about the type of gear oil I would use.

I use car-quest straight 90w gl4 that even has a warning about using it in GL5 boxes on the back label as a cheap fill.

also, sup with using gear oil instead of ATF in G-series boxes?

Why anyone would want to run whats equivalently a 20 weight engine oil in a gear box that barely holds itself together is beyond me.
The only reason atf would be usesable is if GL4 isn't available and your box needs something that day.

I just removed a gearbox I personally put 80k+ miles of abuse on,and I don't think Jesse ever replaced it. I know it wouldn't of made it that far running ATF.

I managed to find a new OEM drivers side mount assembly on ebay for $20 over what the cheapest aftermarket one cost. It's also revision code E, meaning the 5th reiteration of the part.
I'm hoping it's super beefy. But I'll be nice just to have a non-acid/brakefluid stained bracket.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the mystery junkyard G-series in my wagon took a ton of abuse and has the cheapest ATF I could find in it, never had any issues

                Warmer climates= Gear oil.
                Cold climates= ATF

Ford basically says use ATF regardless of climate and Mazda says something different but Mazda designed it so I use their recommendation.

                    I've always used MT-90.

My GT-X box was abused prior to my ownership, but I managed to string it along for seven years of daily abuse. That's about 250% as long as I expected it to last.

The 5th revision drivers side mount came in today.

It looks like the trans side of the mount has a different bolt pattern than the old one. If I recall there were extra threaded sections on that mount. I'm not looking forward to changing out studs though.

Overall it's seems to be fairly well designed. Although I think this variant was designed more around weight shaving than strength. As it changes the cast trans side mount with a fairly thick sheet metal that's reinforced in a few places.

I'll probably make a comparison thread after I swap them out.

changed the oil and compression tested it. discovered while pulled the plugs for the compression test that I'd cracked the insulators on two of them, so I had to go buy another set of spark plugs. that's two sets in like 1500 miles, what the ****. no idea why this keeps happening.

I somehow managed to botch my parts interchange and bought an F series drivers side mount. It doesn't matter as the assembly with the bushing is the same either way and fit fine but I'm still impressed I managed to **** that up.

New mount didn't fix my weird shiftier hitting the mid-console when I shift into 5th issue as I was hoping though. Suppose I'll have to trim the shifter boot retainer trim by about 1/4 inch. It's easier than going through the trouble of shimming a bracket that would take too much trial and error to find.

replaced the front brakes today- Hawk HPS pads and some decent blanks. went to push the piston back in on one caliper and blew out the seal, so that was awesome. ended up replacing the calipers, too. pedal feel still sucks, new booster and adjusting the pedal will happen tomorrow.
