Raced an Evo 10 at the local street racing event, Beat him from a 40 by a couple cars, and we were dead even from a 20.
It's an actual sanctioned event at a racetrack before anyone gets their panties in a bunch.

How do you roll race on a track? That sounds super boring.

yeah, it really is, but it's dirt cheap and better than sitting at home. lol but you start at one of 3 sets of cones in the staging area depending on what speed roll you want to do, blue cones where the tree is where you start the race.

tried to start my new motor. it blew out white smoke and then died. I guess I'll be pulling the head and checking it out. I am guessing it is a head gasket. this head is probably not worth fixing. I already had it shaved down once.

^ you can shave it down to 15/16 thou.

Replaced my ridiculously large boost controller and wastegate pressure lines with tiny Festo plastic lines. I was spiking almost 4 psi over what I run. Now I spike maybe 1 psi, which allows me to run 3 more psi. That 3psi makes a really nice difference.

where are you pulling signal from? ive been reading it's more accurate to run the signal from after the IC

What DID I do today?

Well, before work, I applied a new piece of bling to the frontal area of my 5 door, right smack between the headlights. And semi fixed my ****ty ass EGT bumper (I cant wait to find a clean white EGT bumper) Also, removed the Roof Basket and the fitted rear mud flaps to switch it up for a bit.

Also, cannot wait for this bay to be full of shiny KL goodness.

Then after work, I removed my Pierce front strut brace, and applied a protege 5 piece in it's place.

Oh, and I painted my Pierce Strut braces. (plural) Front and Rear!

The front is drying currently.

Thanks guys. I'm just glad this thing is coming together so nicely. I have been working my ass off this year to make this all happen. Ryan, it may be too pretty for the ugly 1.9, but once the 2.5 is in there, everything will be on an equal level of beautiful. In the long run, I care more about the function than the form, but I intend to keep this car forever, and taking my time is something I will be able to be proud of when it's done.
