    97 PGT crank no start

    Has no spark.
    No codes or Cel
    New crank sensor, dis, wires, plugs
    Anyone ever had this problem?
    Its intermittent.maybe 4 days out of the week it happens.

    Try removing the fuses in the relay box in the engine bay and put it back...i've had a similar problem over my 626 and a poor connection over the main 100amps fuse was the issue.

    After that look at the base, does it fire when you crank? Check at the injector's connector if it pulse.

      could also be a poor ground.

      I'd check the resistance of the internal coil on the distributor while you're at it, as they usually are out of spec and do not flash a CEL (I had 2 that ran but were out of spec 93 KL)

        are you positive you have the correct disty? they can be pretty specific to the right years. and the parts stores like to give you the incorrect one.

            If it was the wrong year it wouldnt run at all. Its probably a shotty distributor. 92/93/94 use odb1 disty and 95-97 use odb2

            Also dont run any plugs and wires but NGK. If you have some autozone crap on there right now, that could definitly be part of the issue. Also check to make sure that your wiring for the crank sensor isnt getting chewed up in the belts.
