    these manual transmissions actually dictate ATF for cold climates. as shifting is severely compromised when gear lube(s) are used.

    double check your balljoint bolts & don't skimp on tightening the pinch bolt.

      Okay, hard shifting was a clutch master cylinder on it's way out. Not sure how that happened since it shifted perfectly before the clutch replacement. Oh well, kept the Redline MT-90 and now it shifts smooth as butter. Also, the clunking turned out to be control arm bolts that loosened up. Had to loctite them and now everything is smooth and quiet. Love this little car so far, just wish it was a hatchback. I also installed some heated seats, they are worth their weight in gold up here in Maine!
