god I love what you've done with the interior!! How difficult was it to get the suede and CF to contour like that? I need to do my headliner, and I was going to wrap the pillar plastics as well...maybe a few other spots. Would be a few steps up from a rattle can lol.

Also what adhesive spray did you use? That's an important detail!

        Thanks for the comment!

I used 3M spray glue, but some spots have not sticked enough so I gotta make them again. A friend of mine said I should use "trim cement"... it's a spray can sold at Ford dealers, it's a Ford product used by mechanics there to stick back the trims and apparently it works really great.

And sticking CF vinyl and suede all-around... it's a pain in the ass. If you want to do a clean job it's pretty long. Another friend took black tissue that was a little bit "elastic/stretchable" so it was easy. But my suede is a solid fabric that doesn't stretch a bit so it was really hard to give it a shape without any plies/bends.

Never seen this before. It's one of the most well done DIY interiors I've seen.

Agreed ^^ amazing attention to detail, definitely gave me some inspiration lol

I'll look around and see what I can find for fabrics, but I'll look into that Ford trim spray for sure! That sounds like tough stuff

Awesome build man. I know you're not planning on keeping the 1.6L but it's making me wonder if I should boost my 1.6L.

The 1.6L tranny is fragile until you put a Quaiffe LSD in it... but the engine could stand boost up to 18psi on stock internals... ZM's are way tougher than FS engines!!!

IDK how i've missed this thread. You have some incredible attention to detail.
Im not fond on the small side mirrors but everything else has been amazing!

the GT17 turbo inlet porting...... I personally did similar porting job & combined with a good intake pipe the results were astounding! you will enjoy it!

                          Thanks for the comments!

I like the small mirrors because they're carbon fiber.... but the best about it is that they're convex so I have a larger sight in these mirrors than OEM's.

I already had a good turbo inlet. The inlet O.D. size is 2.75" so I took a 2.75"-to-3"--45° coupler, 3" aluminium pipe with a little angle (modified Civic SRI), 3"-to-3.25" coupler, 3.25" HKS mushroom filter...... turbo has enough air to breathe! But since now, the inlet air was hitting a wall around the turbo at the inlet so it was making turbulence before entering. Now with the porting it won't do it. Maybe I won't feel any difference but I know this little detail will be better. Everything is about details!
