The Miata is the one I bought last February and have daily driven since. 2000 LS with the small tupperware/foglights/torsen. Garage kept, rust free, accident free, good paint, 3-owner car just hit 40,000 Miles a few weeks ago. Clean In and Out. Cusco Zero2E Coilovers with Cusco E-CON controller wired and working, Flyin Miata Exhaust, Fab9 Coil over plug conversion, 16x7 +35 Gram Lights 57c with Sumitomos, Garage Star Delrin Door bushings, Touge Run spoiler, and a hitch. Also have a hardtop that I still need to paint match and do a lexan window for, will be getting a Roll-bar and trying to pick up a set of polished 16x8 +33 Meister S1 soon. If I can't get $10K for it this spring, I'll probably drop a Kraftworks Rotrex supercharger on it this summer, and build a forged bottom end and high flow head next winter to go nuts with a C30-94 next year.
gonna do the 6-speed swap while you're at it? now I'm looking at MR2s and the Spyder is in the $3500-6000 sweet spot with halfway decent NBs and I feel like there are bad decisions to be made here.

your NB is too nice for me, but I've got a friend who's on the lookout for one and I'll pass it along. price might be in the "his wife will murder him" range and I don't think he wants tan top/interior but most of the things you've done are things he was planning (minus a turbo, but he wants to do brakes/suspension/clutch/rollbar first).

Yeah, gonna try to find a blacktop with a 6 speed. After I sell off the 5 speed and everything salvageable from the stock motor, I really won't be into the car for more than $2000 or so. I figure it should go for around 3-3.5 pretty easy being so clean... Drive that this summer while I finish the Contour, sell both towards the end of summer to buy this:

Then the money from the Miata will be dumped into the motor, EFI, turbo's and chassis work for the Torino. And Eventually the Escort will go to pay for materials to re-do the body and paint on it.

Here's the dirty little butt thumper:

I would absolutely pay $3k for a clean 20V-swapped AW11, even in that color.

it's going to be a good thing when my new job starts and I don't spend all day on craigslist looking at cars I shouldn't buy

I took the BG out in the ice the last two days and took the 240 out today. It of course developed multiple problems. I locked the steering about three times, I blew my only good EFI relay I'm guessing because of all the hot restarts, and The heater core water line is leaking again.

I'm going to have to bite the bullet and figure out what I want to do steering rack wise soon because I will end up in a ditch sooner than later with my current setup.

It really is my favourite leak because it pisses on what was once a brand-new starter 5 months ago. And it's not like antifreeze is $10 a gallon or anything.

I don't think I can find any fuel line worm gear clamps in that size, and I am not a fan of standard ones that eat into hoses.

I've got S14 outter tie rods with no other modification save for one busted tension rod so its either overcentering, not centered proper to begin with,or my steering bump stops are failing me in some fashion.

I want to say I have the longer S13 inners on each side. Getting the steering rack to work was done five years ago and it was all junkyard parts. I'm sure I have horrible ackermann at present.

S13 and S14 don't work together, they're different diameter. S14 outers with A31 inners is think is the magic combo for stock knuckles, and then I think you use Z32 inners for modded ones. Something like that, I forget.

The designers of my Chinese brake master heat shield did not expect me to have the ABS booster and a 300zx master. Only took a bit of bending to get it to fit. After it gets use to being bent in that fashion I'll swap it to be below the coil bracket.

Wired up an old Pioneer I had lying around. If my bodged heater lever fix would of worked I'd of mounted it proper. I've only one speaker, the left rear, it's a factory paper cone and sounds great. I really only installed it to minimize the issues I could have with the 10 cut radio wires living in the dashboard. I still have three or for leftover somehow. I think I had premium audio at one point.

I fixed up a good deal of the exhaust leaks as well and the idle dB is now 73 with muffler silencer out. Still over 100dB in cabin at WOT. Thinking of throw another resonator on it.

Managed to get the passenger side tension bracket/rod out today. It was a real pain. I also installed the 100lb 28mm adjustable megan front bar.

I can't even use the furthest tab with the new end-links I have I can't imagine how stiff that one would make the front. I also bashed the hell out of the paint.

                              America.

It should really come with a longer set of bolts as the factory mounting bolts aren't long enough to bite into the frame.

I also noticed a leaky drivers side caliper.

I'm glad it ruined my expensive red paint.

It has to be a new leak as the wheel paint is only bubbly in one place so I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't from my last major off somehow.

Oh the gear box is leaking like a sieve too. I think one of the sensors that don't do anything fell out.
