I really want to do some Team Mouse witchcraft to stuff the BPD in a Miata or FC and keep the stock ECU.
I could probably do that for you, but we live kinda far away from each other.

It seems like it would be simple enough to make a bracket to hold the disty, then it would be a matter of running a belt-drive setup to go from the cam gear to the end of the disty like the 20V 86 nerds do... how hard could it be?

I do wish there were some way to just use a CAS and coil packs with the GTR computer though

I'd prefer not to- makes basic maintenance harder, plus then I have to worry about it interfering with the wiper linkage. I mean, as a last resort, sure, but I've seen them run off of the front of the cam before so it's definitely possible.

Drove the Volvo in light snow this morning. It remained well composed. Only broke traction once, and then only briefly, during a harder-than-necessary straight line acceleration in second gear.

scraped off the 128i, shut off the traction control, and drove to work. I really love oversteer in the snow.

I just installed a tachometer from a spare cluster in the Volvo. No more giant analogue clock. I'll miss it a little, but I really want the tachometer, so it's staying. I fiddled with illumination bulbs while I had it apart and got them both working. And I removed the bulb from the annoying shift indicator light. I don't need a light to tell me when to shift.

                            I'll take a picture tomorrow if I don't forget.

EDIT: I didn't forget. Here is the crappy picture I took with my phone.

Thinking about getting the Project-G rear "glass" with 3 more pop vents. Bet i could sell my stock glass for almost enough to cover it.

Played with an absurdly expensive lathe and cut new grooves for circlips lower on my Bilsteins in preparation for iteration #2 of my Ghetto Billy setup.
