the KA24DE has some of the dumbest ****ing design decisions I have ever seen. two timing chains, a head gasket that is also the gasket for the upper/lower front covers, head bolts tucked under the cams, a thermostat housing cast into the oil pump, heater hoses that run through the intake manifold... everything about this motor is ****ing stupid and I hate it.sigpic
