Oh and I've decided on 4AGE blacktop for the AW11. You'll be happy to hear that I'm sure. I'll probably sell my NB this spring (I'll miss it) and daily the toyota this summer, then sell it too.

Cody, you need to buy my gram lights so you have any extra set for your miata! lol

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

Fixed my monster tachometer that's installed in the Toyota Echo.
The casing had been pushed in so the glass(plastic) prevented the needle from moving.
Also changed the LEDs and buttons cos they didn't work.
But can't seem to get the shiftlight to set, must be a broken wire, o well.

Got the cruise control working on the miata this weekend.

For some reason some previous owner along the way decided to remove and discard the vacuum servo? I put a used one in there and the cruise "worked". But then i found that i had the early-99 TSB-mentioned cruise control hunting issue (a known problem with the cruise computer). So i plugged in a cruise computer from an NB2 and everything is working great.

The early 99 cruise computers had a diode or transistor or something that would fry, once that happens it starts hunting. The official fix in the TSB is to replace the computer with the NB2 part number

added secondary turn signals in the city light housings thinking that would cure the hyper-blinker problem I was having, only to discover that the new turn signal sockets are wired backwards internally. swapped pins, everything works as intended. also replaced the serpentine belt and tensioner.

this car is surprisingly not terrible to work on.
