I at least had enough hose left from the last time I did vacuum lines on the car to run the signal line to the boost gauge. I'm thinking about taking the gauge apart since the plastic has gotten horribly discolored (I'd just replace it with a new piece from another gauge) and the wires for the light are barely connected, but all of what I've read about taking gauges apart leads me to believe I will pretty much destroy it doing so- at least the outer ring. given that it's an RE Amemiya gauge, I'd kinda like to not do that. any tips?

I'd just cover the gauge face and paint the trim. The old trust gauges I had were rattle canned and while not out of box perfect they looked better than before.

Using Linux for anything serious besides server or software dev is like using a tin can and a string for telecommunications.

bo- pics or ban. Regas are the best.

Kitty- I'm talking about the "glass" face part. it's foggy and makes it hard to see the gauge. plus it's not like an Autometer gauge where the light is in a socket you can remove, it's built-in somewhere.

you can kinda see the haziness in this picture:

finished up the vacuum lines, epoxied the boost gauge mount to the dash, installed the passenger's grab handle, and discovered I'm gonna have to pull the upper radiator hose and modify it so it clears the cold pipe better.

I was SO psyched to find out that the vent setup actually cleared the hood, you have no idea.

I really wish I had done something like that for the wagon, would have been nice to have it not spray oil everywhere

                        The car in my sig.

                        F2T motor.

222k miles of overboosted destroyed chassis hilarity. Looking for sub-2400lbs and 400whp this time around. Because daily racecar.

I kinda miss my F2T... KA-T is pretty similar though

swapped in a Walbro 255HV, changed the o-rings on my injectors, and used epoxy and a nickel to fix my brake lights.

also, discovered that the wastegate opens up at 1.2 bar and this car is actually kinda quick.

got the downpipe cut and welded to fit, took it 1/4 mi down the road to a gas station and blew it up on the way back. 1000% done with this car.
