They wouldn't fit on the original mounts so I had to get creative...

And I used some interior panel snaps, took out the center, and ran the bolt through with these awesome snap covers.

I got extra long bolts just in case lol obviously didn't need em that long. Only cost me 70 bucks! I went ahead and bought a dremel and drill bits for it. Dremel is the biggest accessory rip-off there is, but they're so dang handy.

I'm thinking about lowering her on sprint springs, but I'm curious if that'll be a problem if I get a front lower tie bar brace...any suggestions?

Get the front brace first and see if you can lower it the 2" they claim it drops the car lol

I don't know if it is exactly 2", but I know they go lower than any other springs out there. And they're comfortable too. Where are you buying them from?
Before you criticize someone, first try walking a mile in their shoes. Because then you'll be a mile away, and you'll have their shoes...

Lower than any other out there? I dont' want anything crazy low, just something to get rid of the gap. I also hate it when the back looks lower than the front...I haven't looked anywhere specifically, but the cheapest place probably lol

This one has an absolutely perfect stance and it's got sprint springs. I'm keeping the original 15" wheels btw

Personally if you're worried about your front/rear height being off a bit, I'd get a Ground Control sleeve kit. Adjust it then forget about it lol

That's a good idea. I've never really thought of coilovers/sleeves because I just always thought they were really expensive, but after looking at em that's totally awesome. Thanks!

Ya they've gone down in price over the years, I remember they were closer to $600 shipped back in the day, but now the springs themselves are only $45-55ea lol.

I'd recommend the Ground Control kit over any other sleeve kit, since they're designed for the BG chassis...should see the CRAP I'm going through making my own lol...still only have $150 invested in my setup tho lol.

facny man! getting a shop to cut them? I've had luck with the original OEM gaskets and some chimney cement lol, haven't had an issue yet (fingers crossed lol)

I might be interested in a turbine downpipe 5 bolt gasket if you happen to make extras, maybe even the turbine inlet

I've cut em out as much as I could with tin snips. I haven't taken it to the machine shop yet, but I'm going to. Hopefully it's not too much. I don't really have the means to make a bunch of these since the sheet of copper cost so much lol but I can send you the link of where I bought the copper. It was Etsy.com, I had to start a 'profile' or whatever.

You have to realize that cars look lower than they really are when you take a picture in the grass. So the stance you might be looking for might not be the stance you see.
