    New member in trouble already!

Hello, My name is Ron from Ontario Canada. I just bought my 1998 Mazda Protege 1.5 two weeks ago. The car has 225,000 km on it . I drove the car home from the sellers house with no problems. The next day I drove it in the garage to check it over . I replaced the cracked exhaust manifold and now the car will not start. I dropped the cat converter in case it was pluged , I took the covers off to check timing belt alignment it's ok. The engine turns over but will not start. It has spark and lots of fuel . The engine almost starts but then floods. No codes present . I am ready to PUSH it outside and burn it. Any ideas for a fix would be appreciated. Thanks Ron

If it ran before you replaced the exhaust manny and now it doesn't, you disturbed something that didn't wanna be. Go back and look over where you were looking. There isn't much there, but if you left say the block ground wire off, yeah... it'll have issues.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

how are you checking for spark ? how are you checking fuel ? because combine the two it will do something unless timing is way off
