    Kinda slow today...

The G5M01 box...cant source out on toyota box...hope this could hold for the time being

Cylinder head naked !!! Off you go dirty stains...

Oppsss...look what came through the mail today !!!

The Garrett GT30XX...my dream come true...just hope it has no clearance issue...
    Its a GT30 series with a hot side of 0.82 a/r
Not sure of the other specs thou...LOL

The turbo will be going off to a local turbo specialist for servicing as well as downgrading the Turbine housing from 0.82 a/r to 0.63 a/r T3 flange...
Dont want the lag to be awful...
    Or..........keep and play with the 0.82 ????

honestly with a .70 cold side you'd be better off keeping it on the low side for turbine lol, that'll take a while to start moving some air in your favor otherwise.

Glad to see this is being done to a BHA tho! Not enough of them around

Thanks...well I already ordered a 0.63 ar turbine housing and see how the car goes when all is done...

Fewer mods to come in this build would be...

            CP Piston 9.0:1 CR 84mm
            Scat Compact Conrods
            Clevite bearings
Top mount custom T3 flange manifold
            510cc dsm injectors
Multicoil coil setup taken from mitsubishi evo 3
Haltech Sprint 500 (P1000 if I can squeeze some cash LOL)
            Cometic MLS gaskets 1.3mm thick
Porting and polishing of cylinder head
            Supertech valve seals
Not to forget ARP head studs...

Power goal would be around 300-350whp ...hope so...

Kinda busy for the past 2 days...went to my cousin's workshop today for some engine bay housekeeping...

                  19/04/2013

Off with the old Microtech MT8 wirings...as well as the BPD fuse box wiring and will be replaced with an original BH fuse box to chasis wiring...the guy that made the swap REALLY REALLY sux at wiring...

Look at the mess...damn I hate that guy!!!

Well MSD going off to make way for Multicoil system taken from an EVO 3 (Triggered with Haltech maybe)

End of the day result...time is kinda limited today...done tagging wires and securing hoses for cleaning purposes before the body is sent for an engine bay spray...

Been busy a couple of days...got time to stop by the workshop for some minor progress...

                        24/04/2013

Taking the BP block and CP pistons for machining work...

My turbine housing came in today...its a 0.63 a/r...its not a garrett one...however got issues with the fitment...after taking some measurements I can tell that this turbo is a Garrett GT3076R with 0.70 compressor housing...76mm and 56 trim...

The turbine housing had to be taken to the machinary for fitment adjustments...
Not a huge differences at a glance LOL...

Seems the quality is ok...However there are no tiny holes under the piston dome like the stock GTR pistons have (i guess it is for the oil to circulate inside the dome to cool it down maybe)...no side coatings like the wiseco pistons...

Finishing quality is superb...its shiny !!! LOL
