I drove the GTX for 8 miles tonight.

First I sat in it and let it idle for about half an hour. I notice I had to hold the rev (2000 RPMs) until the fuel gauge stopped blinking. Before leaving to go for the drive, the fuel gauge shows that it had a notch lower than half a tank.

Putting it in first gear and pulling off, it cut out (no, I didn't stall). While it climbs from 2K RPMs to 2.5K RPMs, it bucks. As I drove, the fuel gauge began to blink. Eventually, the fuel light came on as well. I pulled into the gas station. Only half a gallon of gas was put in (the tank is still full). I drove back home and parked up.

(The heat works!) If I change the sending unit, would this low fuel issue stop?

I definitely plan on getting the injectors cleaned, fixing the vacuum lines, new all season tires and she'll be on her way to greatness.

No rust in the tank. I shipped that tank to the seller and had it installed.

Thank you. Yes I noticed you're onto cats as well.

Put the GTX on the road on Friday. She drives so nicely in 36 degree weather. Got her first wash today. Currently boosts @ 10 lbs. Gotta rebuild two axles and put new tires on her. Transmission shifts smooth, drives nice on the highway. Just looking to see if there's anything else that needs attention before I start upgrading things.

I took her out for a drive tonight. Instead of driving .75 miles home, I drove 28 miles. 36 degrees & clear skies was the weather tonight. Shifted around 2.5K - 3K tonight. Didn't drive faster than 50 Mph.

16th mile, she began to break up and lose power as if she was running out of fuel. Took my foot off the accelerator for a second then applied it again. One mile later, she did the same thing. Got off the next exit and filled her up w/ Mobil 1 (93 octane). All the car took was 1.677 gallons and that's by me squeezing the pump.

She idles fine at the stoplights. Besides the bucking she does when accelerating at slower speeds, she just fine. I do hear a tick every 3 to 4 seconds and it's coming from the back.

            That's all for now
            Nick

Found out today that the issue was a clogged EVAP system.

Took her out for a 30 mile drive. She spools nice and the bypass valve sounds sweet. I highly doubt the car is stock. It has a front mount and I'm always smelling fuel when the car is running. I took the pump out today and compared to the walboro 255, it was much bigger. This is my second time driving the car so I'm still learning her.

What I do know is that the front axles need to be rebuilt and the e-brake cable has no tension whatsoever.

              That's all for now,
              Nick

                              Ah Ok.

Never heard a stock GTX, but love the way my HKS sounds. Kinda reminds me of the BroSpeed/Brola Miata exhaust. Deep "soft" tone without an rasp or high pitch.

Yes fairly. When they were selling them they were in the 450.00 range for just the cat back then add for the cat delete track pipe.
