Sorry guys, I have been a bit of a slacker, just now having a break in work and have the time to share my goodies. Jim did a fantastic job setting up all my arms, I sent him a set of 3rd gen trailing arms, and am definitely looking forward to COMPLETE adjustability. I got everything, minus swaybar, coated in textured black. Looks pretty good and should be stealthy as can be!

Top subframe is BG 2wd from this group buy, bottom subframe is for my 2nd gen DSM. :D

Update! Pictures to follow when I get home.

FINALLY, got out and did some real work. Pulled the stock frame super quick and easy. Laid the frame Jim sent me on top of the stock one. at first sight everything looks great.

Got under the car. Not so great

One hole is off by almost about an 1/8 of an inch id say, front to back, it needs to be further apart. Enough that I can't get it on. I tried cheating and pressing the studs together but no go.

hopefully it will become more clear once I get the pictures up. I am at work right now but I should have no problem getting them up tonight or tomorrow night(today is my anniversary lol)

JIM; Should I enlarge the mounting hole to fit? would you like just pictures and measurements?

Ok great---good feed back and that could have just been it pulling on the jig---we've figured the preload/pull on the 2wd units, and now we've got an idea on the 4wd units. Yeah go ahead and punch the holes out and put it up in there---get me centerline measurements on the studs---front to back/left to right and diagonal if you can and I'll verify the jig. Thanks again Ian---glad your healing up!!!

Beau those look fantastic---and...I like mine better!!!

did u ever do a replacement the stock awd?

I didn't ever try that one---we did 2wd, 2wd to 4wd with Toy Diff, and now 4wd toy diff...It's probably a project I'd consider next year---gotta finish these up first. Speaking of that hey Ian how you feeling/healing up?!?! We're you by chance able to get those measurements on the studs---fr/back-side to side/and diagonals would be super huge so I can just verify the jig and start assembling the rest of these bases-thanks!!

HELLO! I am fairly well healed up these days. Just been a busy summer(I think they all are lol). I actually have the stock subframe out right now. I was meaning to run out and find a nice, long, straight.....accurate ruler but I haven't sourced one locally yet.

I also spent some time trying to procure the floor pan section from a few different 4wd cars where the subframe mounts but so far that hasn't happened. I should be able to report back by Saturday(August 30th, 2014) with accurate measurements.

              FWIW, the Factory given dimensions are as follows;

forward two mounting studs are 910mm(35.83 inches) apart
rear two mounting studs are 930mm(36.61 inches) apart

distance between forward pair and rear most pair(so front to back seperation)255mm(10.04 inches)

So I've been working on getting this in the car and now I have. Still barely fits but it's there.

Tell me what to measure! Lol

Hey Ian! Ok cool so we just want to verify the front/back and side to side measurements from center hole (or is it a stud?) to center hole---and then more importantly do an X measurement form say front left to back right and front right to back left---that really will validate our jig and also how straight your particular shell is. I can start assembling them once we confirm it!!! I'll slot the right side like the factory did to allow a little wiggle room/alignment, although the arms will allow for some pretty precise fine tuning---thanks again Ian for you help with this---saves me from buying a car..

Thumbs up my dudes! I was home for a week and REALLY wanted to get things done to the car and get my setup bolted up and suspension dialed in for rolling ,but the GF wanted to spend all week meeting my family. Damn women getting in the way of car progress! Anyways, next time I get the chance to go home (probably thanksgiving) I will certainly be doing some bolting of things.

I have all this info, I am making a sketch with the dimensions. I should be able to post it at lunch along with a bunch of pics.

Thanks! Jim, you want me to send this guy back yet?

Brilliant Ian---thanks! That's 955mm diagonally---that's the key for us---I can get cracking on them now---everything else is pretty much locked down now. I'll build the leg's and notch for the diff's---then we'll move onto swaybar stuff. Yes sir---you can send that one back-

This is looking really good. Can't wait for these to be released, now that I have a Toyota drivetrain to install.
