I thought it might be leather! I have absolutely no interest in leather as the interior seems to be in great shape. I'll know more once I can get her on the road and detail the living crap out of it though LOL.

It does have 14" mesh rims on it, any idea what the LE rims look like? I was thinking about RX7 FC BBS rims in the future...thoughts?

        nevermind lol found a pic

they definitely do look like the E30 bottlecaps though! Just would rather deal with a 15" or a 16" rim (preferable 15" since tires are still being made in a decent size and price)

These are the RX7 FC BBS rims I'm talking about btw

I want to keep it 90s looking, as I could easily source some "flashy" rims, or some updated OE wheels...but I don't think it'd suit the boxy nature of the GD chassis. Thoughts?

Personally, I think those wheels are perfect for the car. I would love to see those on there. Good call, sir.

The rx7 vert BBS wheels were OEM on these cars in Europe. And good luck finding a clean set of LE seats. Im a HUGE junkyarder, and have only seen 1 set ever, and they were ****ed! I do have the headrests from them though as they were savable.

What you need is a set of 88-92 mx6 lx/gt front seats. They bolt right in, and are a massive upgrade.

Interior is staying as is lol, but thanks for the suggestions. I love the front seats in there now personally, they have a LOT of adjustability and are pretty damn comfy plus it'd be a pain in the ass to find a colour matched MX6 lol...

Also noticed on the GD chassis FB group I'm on that some 626/Capellas came with fender mounted side mirrors...thoughts?

Fender mounted mirrors are tits on the period correct cars. But our gen 626 isnt one of them. lol.

The stock 626 seats are pretty much probe seats. Lots of cushion, but not alot of side bolster. Which is why i always swap them out. Plus the mx6 butt pad sits a tad lower which i like. Im just a mx6 seat snob, thats always my very first mod every time i pick up a new GD. lol

I don't find the current seats uncomfortable at all really, I just drove her to a storage spot til I can come up with the funds to have her repaired and such. Definitely a big fan of the retro brown/light brown plaid interior hahaha. I should have checked to see if the cruise control works, as everything else does so far, even the oscillating vents lol (my GE 626 had those too, pretty neat, but really only good for when the a/c is on...which works! so that's pretty awesome.

Won't be many updates for the first month or so, since I start my new job on Monday and the car is about 2hrs away lol

Thanks man, I really do enjoy starting with an unmolested car with a clean paint and interior lol...so nice. I vacuumed the crap out of her yesterday as well when I had the time, so she's looking real good. Also used about 50 qtips on the dash/door panels and removed some of the black undercoating from the underhood by the strut towers/rad support/fender crease...I'll snap some pics later on!

Found out the left rear bumper is sagging quite a bit though, looks like I can make up a bracket to support the bumper close to the OE gap...here's hoping lol. Looks like the caught the mud flap on something and proceeded to try to yank the bumper off LOL its a bit mushroomed at the mounting point, but honestly unless you're looking straight at the car, you can't really notice it lol.

                        Expect pics later today tho

it really does look exceptionally clean!

I just reliazed its the same color as my 1st mx6gt also. That weird champaign/ almost pinkish in the light when its clean. But your much better off with the tan interior. Mine had the baboon ass red. Blah!
