Hey Ian ... I have all the JDM parts ( Front and Rear bumpers , Both Top/Lower Hatch Spoliers, Headlights /Turn Signals .. EDM rear Foglight garnsih .. Oh and Rally front lights )

I will have the headlights/turn signal installed in the coming month.. as for the body parts ??? I am going to wait till spring to refurbish them /paint etc.

The weather is getting to cold now to do body work/painting .

You mean 1.8 B8. That is indeed a rare car these days, as to my knowledge only the Canadian 323 in the LX trim had the bigger motor. I briefly owned a 1991 323 LX 5-speed and it had a nice pep in its step with the 1.8L even with 200,000kms.

As a detailer and someone who takes good care of their cars, I admire the level of clean you keep your rides at. That black paint with those wheels on that 323 look nice.

That will scare off deer for sure!
                  I have that same engine in my '91 323F/astina B6 1.6 8v
It has good torque at low revs, ideal for winter/rally situations.

Well Bo .. We both are 100 % wrong.

This 323 Canadian Lx model is actually a 1.8 B8

                    Cool_steve was right...

Even the hood sticker tells me I was wrong.

Specs at 112 cu. in. , basically 1.8L

Been slacking on my duties of posting updates on all my threads ... I am a bad club member

So, here I have a list of happenings to current weekend fun.

Since I put the auxiliary headlights on the car, It was a sure thing it needed a clutch before it was to run in the 2014 Thunderbird TSD rally.

So, another CP member had the perfect timing and had a Excedy clutch kit for the 1.8 SOHC for sale. Once I picked it up myself and Adam ( AKA Crazycanadain )
lent me a hand on Re&Re the tranny and installed the clutch. Job well done...

Got it back on the ground, running great ... but only a day on the road.. Fu@kin accident !!

Rear ender... long story but not my fault !! the light bar took the hit and pushed into the hood and radiator/hood support member.

Luckly it was just the hood and the front support member could be bent back into shape. I had an extra hood ( matching colour ) and went to work to fixing it again ... with a week to go till
the Rally event. I had everything all back together and started the car... Bloody hell the radaitor is now leaking. I had some how just nicked a vein in the radiator when I was prying and pulling the support member back into shape.
Order up another new radiator and install ... started to think this car is cursed !!

Start driving it againn....But hell the axle seal is now leaking after the clutch Re&Re .. headed to Adam's work and he quickly pulled off the drivers axle and replaced the seal .. Fixed !! Sigh
