anyone to get involved with a DIY ecu?

I know it's a bit ambitious and I know there are a couple of open source ECU projects around, but...

I am a software developer and cars are just a hobby. Looking at the existing aftermarket engine control units I believe time has come for a simple, clear and extendable EFI project. We have boards under $20 running at speeds above 100MHz, we have some great real real-time operation systems - I believe these things combined should make a very simple EFI possible.

Actually I have my test car running with my code, with hardware on the clumsy side:

Here are some HOWTOs to give you an idea:

Maybe a new video would generate some responses, I should have one next week.

Dude your software looks amazing. I looked and didn't say anything but I thought it was cool. I like how it looks for the target RPM

I am kicking myself for the mistake of posting this video - you are the 3rd person to ask. Nope, I've killed before the final revving which was in the "script" - this video is the fifth cut and it was getting darker I will re-take it today with more light and a longer run.

But on the other hand, there is for sure still a LOT to do - I am sure there are bugs and issues and stuff, that's why I am looking for people who would be interested to join this project.

Can't wait to get the first 'real' board - it's supposed to be delivered on Monday. Sure think it could be totally messed up, but I am hoping for the better

                        Man, that's hardcore.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.
