    Proud new P5 owner!!!

    Just purchased a 2003 P5 (black) 5 speed
255k miles. clean interior & a 2nd set of rims with snow tires
    all for $450.

    so far it needs:
    front brake rotors/probably pads
    rear pads
(which means overall i will be upgrading the braking system- SS lines/ bigger slotted rotors/etc)

    front balljoints & or struts
a couple potential routes i might go with this yet....
    an oil change
the inside of the windows cleaned
    a header

    The bad:
common 3rd gen rear wheel well rust (and a few spots on the corners of the doors)
needs the front radiator support pulled back just a hair (probably able to do by hand with a few quick jerks)
    headlights are also foggy
only part of the guage cluster lights work- along with the center console lights
the heater control doesn't allow full adjustment of placement (i.e. defrost/high-low/feet/etc)

    meanwhile open to all suggestions

              "if it breaks.... upgrade it"
              thats my motto alex.

and as of now. the brakes are broken (by my standards) driveable but not safely in my eyes.

Congratulations on your new car. The P5 is a great model, even stock. I would definitely recommend a Racing Beat exhaust system. A certified power increase and sounds good while not being too loud or annoying. Also, suspension upgrades are easy to implement and make a noticeable increase in handling. Besides the usual shocks, springs and stabilizer bars, also consider a lower front end tie bar. The P5 already has a front strut tower bar as a stock fitment.

                Have fun.

                Happy Motoring!

Jeez I'm glad CO doesn't salt. They dump magnesium chloride like there's no tomorrow, but as long as you rinse your car after every snow storm it doesn't harm them.

But, I'm subbing for updates. I like the p5's!
