    Where did you purchase the 929 m/c and are those rotors plated?

      i got the master through napa auto parts. I don't think the rotors are plated. They are oem Brembo replacements.
      i know its a piece of crap... but im still faster...

        i guess i was having too much fun... that now makes 17 G series transmissions i have destroyed...

          I also have the oem Brembo replacements installed on my car.

          This is how it looked after installation.



          6 months after.



          I didn't know that they would look like this in 6 months and it's after seeing this outcome that I know the benefit of the using CAD plated rotors.

                      im gonna try it on slicks next time. im also gonna send a set of 3.85 final drive gears (capri xr2)and a set of 4.1 final gears (protege) off for cryo treating and see what the difference is in 1/4 mile time.
                      i know its a piece of crap... but im still faster...

                        personally i love the longer gear ratio. if you have enough power to drive it. going from a f2t gear ratio(fe3'd 323) to a G series (my P5) feels like its on crack for gears.
                        & also from your other post i didn't realize you were only pushing 14psi. even more impressive!

                            yea. on stock internals i didnt want to push it past 14psi or past 7000rpm. if i get rods im gonna bump it to 20psi if the cryo treating woks as well as they say is does and my trannies stop exploding

                              The weakness of the g series isn't just the gears the cases flex causing the gears to fall apart.
                              bp swapped escort lx, gtr ecu, gtr intake manifold, A code VAF, rx7 460cc injectors, ky clutch, holset hy35 turbo on 8lbs, 38mm tial wastegate, ramhorn manifold, full 3 inch ss exhaust, walbro 255 fuel pump
