    Long time member...first time poster.

    Hello guys! Superluker here. After eons of time has passed, I'm here to say hello.

    My 1992 BG finally died after 290,000 miles. This was a sad occasion because I had a wheel and suspension set-up awaiting installation. I was waiting for a KLZE to come into my life!

    I'll look to get rid of my Ford Racing struts and sprint springs, I guess.

    Anyway, I will look to get another BG or get a BJ model.

      Blown head gasket. My original clutch was destroyed from riding with a seized caliper on a day that I had my car packed with equipment for work. Also, I couldn't keep an alternator in the car for more than 5 months. The car would burn through them. The body started to rust out in the trunk. I decided to let her go after the head gasket issue.

          I will. I thought the car would never die when I hit 250k miles, because I had the Protege's cousin -an Escort GT 1.8 with over 320k that never had a problem.(Until it met my ex-girlfriend - and they met rear bumper of a Jeep. Still hate to think about it. It was the most dependable car I ever owned.) Basically the work travel miles racked up on her over a year and the car fell apart.
