First off this is the ECU I have
It seems to have been upgraded to MS2 at some point.
The car is a 91 Festiva (EFI) with a BP swap. Very straightforward. Stock festiva harness with the VICS and CID wires added. Car runs great on the BP ECU.
I got the ECU second hand from somebody on fordfestiva.com a couple years ago, but have only recently got around to trying it out. I had no idea it was a Stratified unit, so I flashed the latest firmware from the MSPNP site and loaded their base tune for the EGT.
and
When running the MS unit, there is spark, but the injectors do not appear to be firing. It will fire on starting fluid. Also, the 3-wire ignition control module mounted on the bracket with the coil gets very hot.
I have tried running with the VAF meter and with the MAP and IAT sensor.
Would like to get it running N/A first and then add boost later.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
