    Rear End Clunk

I've notice that my P5 has a clunk from the right rear. You need to have at least one person in the back seat and need to go over a larger bump - like a curb at the end of the driveway. I noticed that the sway bar link on that side is a little loose. but, don't see anything else amiss.

Any suggestions on what to look for?

    2003 Mazda Protege5, 2.0L (daughter's daily driver)
    2004 Ford Freestar SEL, 4.2L (kid's beater-mobile)
2008 Nissan Titan SE, Crew Cab, Long Bed, 5.6L (hauler of stuff)
    2012 Camry LE, 2.4L (wife's daily driver)

that's prolly it. It doesn't take much sloop to make a good noise.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Did you figure this out? I've got a nice right rear clunk on my P5. Doesn't take much of a bump to get the noise, just light bouncing sitting in the rear seat in the garage. My sway bar links look pretty good. The noise is at the top strut mount. I can feel it with my hand on the nut at the top of the strut. With the nut off, bouncing the car makes the threaded top move in and out of the mount. When the thread goes fully extended I get the clunk. Same clunk when the nut is fully tightened. It's like it's lost a cushion or something. I haven't taken it any further apart; I'd rather do that with the required repair parts in hand. Anybody know what's going on here? Since my daughter took the car to college, I haven't had a chance see if the problem is still occurring after I replaced the sway bar link.
