Wow it has been a minute has it not? Just a slight update on a few things, to date no real progress on the car been busy with all the appointments for the child coming fast. Minimum of 3 appointments a week haahaaaa!! Fml, however, The deal is they have looked further into our case. No immediate surgeries fortunately, they have some cream that they will send us home with that will help with the process, about 4-6 months after birth will go in for open heart surgery she happens to have a 2mm hole in the heart. After that its full on forward from there, we have been spending a lot prepping for this, hence the reason no real progress has been made, just body prep. Cause it is cheap and affordable lol. In the meant time the bosses and I have been going through and clearing shop to open a cage for personal mechanical fixes that'll bring an extra $400/week to help get everything moving forward. Stay tuned, the best has yet to come, meanwhile just listening to Hopeful by Twista and songs alot alike on the daily. Happy new years yall, never give up :-)

Got me some GTR Knuckles yall!! This was going to be one of the harder finds and what do you know? Some guy has them right across the river, felt bad taking them at the price but I need these for the build.

Well considering the time that has passed should give everyone an update, the only progress made so far was the GTR knuckle, which I was sure going to be the hardest find. One day I struck gold looking up Mazda GTR in craigslist and boom there they were all four of them. There is a 97-01 Camry V6 5spd transmission in my area but they want $750 with over 202k miles, wouldn't even bother for that price considering it would already need a full rebuild. But there are many Rav4 around here, same guy who had the GTR knuckles has the rear sub frame and tank with the differential and axles, debating on just putting that in for now and going BPT with gtx/gtr parts to get it on the road for now with AWD and turbo to get a feel for it and get the rest of the FE3 stuff and taking my sweet time getting the Toyota drivetrain in a separate Escort.. But that's just in the air for now those parts are much easier to find.

Well I guess another update should be made. I have gotten my hands on not a Camry but a 99 Solara E153 transmission, for free. Was odd, they were gonna scrap the whole car and I jumped in and asked if I can take the transmission, I pull whatever off the car for keeps. What a score, I also got my hands on a 3.4L Taurus SHO Engine... So um, I got another build in mind, will talk about that later. So far so good aside from being a single dad now, guess mom couldn't tough this one out (no this build had nothing to do with that lol) Since I have came across this find the rest should be easy to come up with. They're are a ton of Rav4's around here I can just go through and get the last of what I need. Still need to find out a solution to my GTR knuckles being wider than my factory struts to bolt up now, not to mention the rotor/caliper combination to get it on the road. that's all I have for now. Have to get the car back into the garage and tinker around with the small things like cleaning up the harness and body prep. Any information on suspension and brake set-ups are welcomed.

I still have it. Pulled them out together, the vehicle ran when I pulled it out of Solara I wasn't going to let that go to waste. The car came victim to the Portland protests from trumps election and they got violent with his car and beat the ever living hell out of it and the insurance totaled it out and they just left it here. Im thinking of a swap in an MR2 for that 1MZ-FE.. But that also requires money lol. I did some reading on that 3.4L V-8 from the Taurus SHO, Come to find out its just a Duratec 3.5 with two extra cylinders, Which in turn bolts up to the 5-Speed from the Lincoln LS flywheel and all. Sooooo RWD V8 escort anyone? Lol. I know I'm ridiculous. Escorts out here are a dime a dozen and got almost all the time in the world now, It'd be cool to have one of each right? An AWD 4Cyl Escort, KLZE V6 FWD Escort, and a V8 RWD Escort? Haha! Seems far fetched but hey I been getting parts and everything for free so far so why not? It'd be cool though.

Soo... Sorry about the belated pictures, for some reason the uploader and my computer were not getting along.. At all. Anyone experience these issues? Is it browser specific? Anywho, photo's of the 1MZ-FE and E153, right now sitting in the shop going to transport by sometime next week. Now all I need is the Rav4 transmission, and Preferably the ST205 rear differential but i will settle for the Rav4 one if it has the Torsen locker. Will be making my own rear subframe in due time. Have to clear out the garage by this week so i can get into making some real progress on this for you guys. I do have updates for my daughter, She was born premature with a 2mm hole in her heart and an omphalocele. Over this past year she has spent 1/3 of her life in the hospital and has had two surgeries by now, one for the heart cause overtime the hole grew to 11mm's so they had to close it, once they were in there come to find out the reason it always took here so long to recover was because the lower intestines didn't have the muscle to keep them separate from the lungs and heart and just rested on top of them. So they fixed that while they were in there, poor little turd. Her second surgery was to install what they call a G-Button so we could remove the nasal feeding canula to keep her from choking when we introduce her to food. She only has one left but thats years away, every things good now. On a different note, we aqquired or impounded a mazdaspeed protege hoping that if they don't pick up the vehicle I can pull off the brake system off of that and maybe the rims to, install the GTR knuckle assembly and have it ready to sit on all 4's to measure out alignments.
