well I found out the air flow sensor was causing the loss of spark, a short eating distributor pulse, power and grounds good, very time consuming, just unplugging the afs got spark restored, and all the time im attempting to improve connections, when id seen some similar posts, and pointing to afs was sounding a lot like my problem I wasent surprised after triple checking the schematics

Well, I thought it could be an open connection but it was, in fact, a short. I'm surprised the ECU didn't throw a code for the AFM.

Was the short inside the AFM or at the connector?
