    Zx2 trailing arms Mx3

    I've read you can use the zx2 trailing arms under the mx3.

    Yet, I also see some differences in the end part (and bushing size) of the 2 arms.
    The mx3 seems to be wider.

    Who knows about this?

    I have done these trailing arms on my MX and they work just fine. The only problem that you can run into is on the GS the rear bolt that connects it to the spindle is a little longer so you either cut it down or take the bolt from the ZX2 which I recommend. I also got energy suspension bushings for it as well and they work great.

      Ok, thanks for the advise.
      So if I understand correct the ZX2 arm at the spindle side is narrower than the mx3(thus usage of other bolt)

      What kind of Bushings did you order? Rest of my car is Superpro and I'd like to have these as well

        Just on the GS its larger! I have an RS and the bolt was the correct one but when my friend tried it on his GS the bolt was to long. I have energy suspension bushings and I have never dealt with Superpro before but I am sure they should have something comparable.

          interesting bit of info on the GS bolt.
          I have a set of zx2 arms waiting to go in this spring- i'll have to pay attention to that bolt

            Who is able to help me understand?

            In this topic I read my bushing should be 40mm or 44mm
            http://www.wihandyman.com/forum/show...ushing-install!!

            I've measured the Mx3 and Zx2 trailing arms, but they don't match.
            What has gone wrong? Did I get a wrong trailing arm

            Mx3 measurements (without bushing, with bushing)
            * 33mm / 50mm
            * 43mm / 59mm

            Zx2 measurements (wiithout bushing, with bushing)
            * 35mm / 50mm
            * 35mm / 50mm

              if i recall correctly the poly bushings for the trailing arms are 2 piece which means they more than likely do not touch in the middle
              if the tube sleeve is the same spec measurement the bushings will work just fine.

                That was what trying to say with the bolt! On the GS the bottom bushing is larger than the RS which in turn requires the longer bolt.
                You got the correct arms! You just need the shorter bolt.
