Front Lower Control Arm Bushings, Rear Most

I am at wits end. I thought I ordered all of my bushings and parts needed to change out my front lower control arms. However I cannot find anywhere the bushing for the rear most mount for the lower control arm.

I ordered what I thought was the bushing from rock auto including new LCA's and ball joints. However the extra bushings were the same for the front most bushings, which were included in the LCA...

Now what is interesting. Autozone, OReilly's, Advanced Auto, Carquest doesn't even show a part number for it...

Car is a 1993 Mazda Protege LX. 1.8L DOHC Auto Disk brakes all around.

    Here are the pictures.

Please help me find this part!! I need one for both front sides. Thank you all

Okay so I have done a bit more research and thanks to FE3 some parts numbers are available. SPF1634K, however when I try to purchase this part number it looks like it comes from Australia and won't get here anytime soon.

So I called Mazda, according to my dealer there are Zero OEM of this part available in the USA. Right side BS063446X Left side BS063446Y

I will keep calling and looking on ebay and amazon. Crazy all I need is a bit of rubber...

Thanks! Yeah the bushing isn't as bad as I thought it was. I think I have an alignment issue more than anything. But rockauto a few months ago had the LCA's on a big nice sale for next to nothing so I jumped on that. I figured that the handling could use some "refreshing".

The bushing has a bit more play in it then I would like. Its not bad, just a bit soft. There are some small cracks in it.

I ordered the energy suspension 4.3152 from autozone. They should be here by Wed. If they aren't the right ones, they will take them back and no shipping charges for me. I hope that is what fits the MX3. What year MX3 should I look for?

If you do have the mx3 bracket for some reason, the ES stuff will not fit it.

So what bracket do I have? See the pictures above... Sorry for my ignorance on this.

Do I need to order something else? If I need the MX3 part. What year do I need to order?

Again thanks for the help here. Its been a bit crazy that I just can't go order a part based on my own make and model... Live and learn there are always "quarks" with every vehicle

Measure the bearing shell ID and I can tell you which one you have. MM is better but inches will work

Well the energy suspension 4.3152 DO NOT FIT. I just want to make sure that is clear so no one else orders these. They are to small!

Attached are the pictures of my bushings with a tape measure across them. The rubber part is looks to be 1.5" wide. Doing the math 1.5" = 38.1mm

It just amazes me that there is no one else in the US that has replaced this bushing. I do appreciate the help so far. I hope that someone here can provide the part number for this bushing.

Okay this time with the pictures

Okay what about these parts. They are for a 1995 MX3 or a 95 Protege. Did someone replace mine with these parts sometime before I got the car?

BECK/ARNLEY Part # 1016191 Front Right Lower Rearward

Anyway I need to get these parts and get my poor car off is jack stands in my driveway. Its been there all week...

Yours look exactly like the ones from my 92 MX3. The part you measured is not the outer shell but just from eyeballing it looks like your outer shell Is closer to 1-3/4" which would essentially mean 46mm ID. It's an MX3 bushing and the only aftermarket one available is from superpro in Australia. If you really want poly, then put the old ones back on and wait a few weeks for the stuff to come from Australia, otherwise go to a junkyard and grab the ones from a 91-03 ford escort and the ES bushing will work in that one.

Thank you for that information. So looks like I am up a creek. I have looked at those Superpro ones and they are a 6-12 week lead time. And honestly way more then I wanted to spend.

Do you know anything about these?

They say they fit a 95 Mx3 and a 95 protege. I just cannot find their dimensions. My bushing is not in terrible shape, I just wanted to replace it since I was doing the work. Looks like that really isn't a viable option.

Front Lower Control Arm Bushings, Rear Most

I don't know anything about those other than I remember a post I read saying that later mx3 bushings were even larger than the 46mm of the early ones. My advice would be to find the escort ones and use the ES bushing if you really want poly bushings. If your not set on poly then any of those bushing are interchangeable.

Thank you so much for all of your help. So just to clarify in my own mind. If I order these complete bushings, they WILL fit?!! The 'rubber' piece is just larger, but they will bolt right up?

Sorry to potentially beat a dead horse, I just want to make sure before I order online then have to deal with all the returns after waiting a few weeks.

Yes they will all work since the control arms are all the same with regards to the length and inner sleeves. The bushing diameter is the only difference. The size only makes a difference when trying to replace them with poly ones.
