Nissan Sentra Kia FE3 swap frankencar

Wasn't sure where to put this, dosn't really fit in any of the project logs so I put it here lol.

To start, the 89 Sentra. Bought it for $200 from a dealer in 2011 just before it was to be scrapped. Just needed a clutch cable. Was a Katrina car with flood damage, and I flooded her again when I had it buy driving through a washed out road. Sold it in 2012. Since then, it has switched hands a few times and has became almost a legend in the local car scene. Was even used for awhile as a pit car at the drag strip to inspect the track eta. It ended up in the hands of a good friend of mine last year where she gave up the ghost and lost compression. I yet again saved the car from scrap last month and brought her back home.

Now for the 2001 Kia Sportage. When I had my ZX2 few years ago, I really wanted to swap a FE3 in her. Almost succeded, but life happened and I had to part her out. It killed me. Now I have a great 97 Escort sedan and only plan a few boltons at most, this one isnt leaving me. But, when my aunt wanted to sell her 5spd FE3 Kia for a crazy $800, I couldnt pass it up to optain the engine that made me loose my car lol.

So, along with my 99 F150 thats in the middle of getting a enigne swap, I now have 3 project cars. Thats just one too many. So I hade the bright idea of putting the FE3 in the Sentra. Alittle searching shows someone put one in a Nissan pulsar of the same platform as my Sentra, so while I may be crazy I'm not alone lol.

So far my main issue is trans options. The Kia engine has a 8 bolt flywheel and seems it will only accept a G series trans from a F2. Now I plan on boost and around 300whp, 250 at least, and will be mostly a tow-to-track drag toy. Seems the only way to use the stronger F2T H trans is to eather swap cranks (time and $$) or have a custom fw made ($$$$$). Will be alot of work just to replace the trans every pass. Also had the idea to convert the sentra to RWD, but, while I have a good understanding on whats invloved and how to do it, I don't trust my welding skills or harbor frieght buzz box for something so invloved.

Enough of my life story, onto pics!

Keeping the rusty look and spraying with matte clear.

    Epic exhaust or what?

Do you have any idea of rear end you are gonna be using if you convert it to rwd? I'm thinking of a datsun pickup truck rear end or a 240sx rear end.
