        Interior upgrades!!

And some fun facts to add when I compare the wagon to my GT sedan

The bumper to bumper length of my wagon is the same as my GT..... This surprised me a lot because I expected the wagon to be at least a couple inches longer lol

And the sticker in the door jam says the wagon is actually lighter then my GT

        Wagon - 1445kg
        GT - 1480kg

Although I expect the wagon to be heavier then what the sticker says with the KL in it now

Its similar to the bizarre fact that BMW's sedans are lighter than their coupes. Totally jealous about the GT interior, I haven't even bothered to put my GTX seats in the wagon, and put the old racecar's Sparcos in the rallycross GTX. I hate the pre-88 front end hat I have, i looks too much like a GLC, I'm glad to see that the later front end looks good on the wagon's body style.

I have a DX Wagon and it came with the light-equipped door cards. If you use the room timer or whatever Mazda called the light relay from a GTX, you get the sweeeeeet theater-style dimming. I think the GTX one also has different timing for the key light, which is paralled to the lighted driver's door lock. I think un-lit locks can use the bulb equipped retainin clip and get sweet lighting.

Did a little photoshoot with my GT, which also made for a great signature pic lol

I'm hoping after Christmas to get the last things done on the wagon, which includes replacing every component of the brake system

As big as you back yard is, could you not build a shed just large enough to store the 323 indoors during the winter?

It's only parked outside temporarily.... I bought two snowmobiles that are taking up garage space lol

                              The 88' 323 Wagon build

I'm finally back into this project and I've decided that the body on my 323 GT is no longer roadworthy so I decided to upgrade the wagon more by switching the GT interior and the power windows into the wagon

As you can see there's parts everywhere

                              Nothing left of the doors/interior

But the windows are working in the wagon!!

Next up is the passenger doors and to get the rest of the interior back in
