    Ababdoned GTX outside of Atlanta

My cousin saw this GTX yesterday. This car is between Mile markers 260 - 267 on I-75 south of Atlanta. Today when he came by, the tag was removed and the back glass was busted. My question is: "Why dump/abandon such a rare car?!"

Realistically it probably broke down as old cars are wont to do, the tag stealing and vandalism was probably from some Atlanta youth.

Back glass busting combined with tow will probably regulate it to a junkyard quite soon.

Using Linux for anything serious besides server or software dev is like using a tin can and a string for telecommunications.

at the car now. Owner has handed over paperwork and keys to me. Car broke down(waiting for tow home to investage what). Rear window is do to a vechile(semi?) tagging the rear corner. Car is most likely going to end up parted, but will need to get it home and inspected it when not on the side of a busy ass interstate.

Kinda. I saved it from going to the crusher, but it got hit badly from the semi so it's totaled from a street car view. It could be turned into a track car

Cool part is there is a pile or spare parts in the hatch.

I am intensely jelly! I've literally never even SEEN a GTX in my neck of the woods, though I guess one sold on Craiglist a few years back, not running, half dismantled, owner was asking $3,000... What did you snag it for?

... I'm just speechless. Pretty sure I would have had a better chance of winning that Powerball jackpot than having that experience around here. How did you find the owner though?

Yea the stars just aligned for me. It was one of those he is down on his luck some and didn't want to deal with the cost of towing it and trying to part it out.

He is also a member of a local forum that Ive been on for years. So he knew it would go to a good home and keep my white GTX on the road.
