So it's actually not to hard to make them fit well.
On the seat side just unbolt the old mounting brackets SAVE THE HARDWARE! The bolts are very shallow and fit just under the slides, allowing the seat to move.
On the bracket end you need to drill out in total right rivets and spot welds before they let loose. I was able to line up some existing holes on the seat with existing rivet holes that I drilled out from the bracket.

You want to do the Galant big brake upgrade ..pull the hubs and have the ears machined down to allow the 88-89 Galant 266mm rotors to fit over, press in longer studs then use the 14/22v caliper from a BG car..Escort Gt, Protege or MX3. Then do the non abs 929 master cylinder with the 95-96 626 power booster. Those brakes will then provide you the ability to throw yourself thru the windshield if not properly restrained. All of this is documented on the forums.

After another rigorous game of "What's that noise?"
I found some heat shield that needed removal. Had this buzzing around 3,000rpm ever since the last event. I also added six fasteners to the bottom of the front bumper. That thing rattled so hard I thought I had bad ball joint.

Some prep for this weekend finally got the car up on a rack to check out all the suspension fasteners. And got the new wheels and tires on so a alignment was also in order.
I knew this car was in a font end collision and the specs confirmed it. Luckily it's not that far out but the driver side strut mount seems to be back a little, increasing the caster on that side. I like the way the new tires fill in the wheel wells. I think I should have gone wider. Well see once I get on it how they handle.

We both drove it in this round of Calclub Rallyx Tarmac rally up at snow valley.
I got new rims and tires for it and I think I should have either went with a narrower rim or a wider tire.
We used every bit of that tread and rubbed the fender well just a touch. I will roll the fenders next week and see I need todo something more aggressive. These are 170/65r14 on a 5in rim I was running 170/70r13 on a 4 1/2 in rim. I could feel the tire get tucked under a few times. But only on the driver side. Which I suspect that strut may be going out as well as the LBJ.
That being said these tires were so much better then the Destiny's that I had before, I will admit they might have seen a decade or so on that car. They were old and cranking between the treads.
I plan on running 185's in the next race most likely those firestone wintergens.

I am in contact with both http://fealsuspensionstore.com/home/ and http://www.flatoutsuspension.com/ about getting coil-overs made for the BF. Hopefully will have some saweet coilovers for the next round of racing at Glen Helen. Looks like were going into the next class if we get them in time. Im leaning towards Feal because there factory is in my region. But we will see.
