Sweet, that reminds me of this find.

I agree, but pretty much importing any chassis is better than buying it locally. I mean this silvia seafoam green for 9K is pretty good when you compare that kind of condition car to what a USDM would go for in the states.

I always thought those Sprints were neat. I think my holy grail nerd car is a City Turbo with the Motocompo option. I think Honda Beats are legal now, I saw a few cool ones on GTR-Garage and I would definitely rock one of those if I knew I'd fit in it.

Japanese classics had this bad boy a little back, I think the digi dash is a nice touch.

Honda beats are nice, but I'm doing a miata now and I think that is my limit lol. If I was going for kawaii yet fun, I'd love to give those Nissan Pulsars a shot.

I miss having a Miata, I'll probably end up buying another down here.

          Pulsar NX or GTi-R?

NX are cool, but I don't know much about them. Seems like parts would be a pain, but the N13s are always for sale stupid cheap and in showroom condition. My thoughts would be it's too quirky.

GTi-R just looks insane on paper. I dunno if I'd ever want to own a homologation variant, but it's got a SR20 so parts can't be that bad. Aussies love em too. I think they're like 9k out the door at Japclassics.

Damn things are a dime a dozen here. $600 for this car and already has exhaust.

Couldn't find a damn thing on the east coast for a reasonable price.

Right? Its reasonable not too bad, got a torn seat needs a fender and replace the belt with manual belts and your golden, even all the BP engines around here are stupid cheap, most Mazda's are. Everyone seems to be in that Honda game around here, or the V8's. Seeing a built Mazda around here is very few and far in between. Some kid tried to roll me in his 305 V8 Camaro a few years back, He was soo disgusted by the fact he lost to a EGT he sold his car and bought the EGT himself. Fell in love with the Mazda world.

Mazda's are stupid cheap in Portland. There are good Pick N Pull yards when I was honda searching that had unmolested BGs just sitting around. Don't see too much Mazda out there rotary or inline lol.

Ya not many here like to mod Mazda's in this area, Dem Honda's though... **** man just getting a b series block in this area for a Honda will run you some ridiculously high amount upwards of $350.

You just have to beat the guys at the pull yards. There around, just sign up for craigslist alerts with key terms like"b series" etc. Salem has a good car crowd, lots of Nismo and Honda guys. Then all those weird Volkswagen and such Portland guys lol.
