Now its on to the Rear Hatch and Bumper ... sigh :0(

I have the upper spoiler disassembled and restored but the whole rear needs a redo too.

So,I plan on repainting the bumper, lower lip and have plans for an EDM rear fog light garnish to be installed.

Here is the start of the process.

Started to take of the original tail lights and rear garnish.

Discovered that while in Japan someone thought it was a good idea to goop abunch of some sort of clauking in behind the tail light foam gaskets.

Its probably 15+years old, as its gotten all hard. One more thing to undo from some bone head.

Plus I am replacing the actual tail lights, as they also thought if they drilled small holes in the lenses that the mositure
( which I am guessing they did this in the first place ) would drain out.

Started to clean it all up and temporarily installed the new/old lenses and fog light garnish, so I could fine sand the plastics and polish them up better than orginal.

So I have polished the hatch and will need to repaint those lower corner trim pieces around the window glass that are polished stainless.

They never seem to stay painted , as every car I have seen has the paint flaked off of it.

I also have now sanded out the lenses and garnish , plus polished them back up.

Hoping this weekend to have the upper spoiler re-installed.. Wooo!!

holy clean batman. and i can't say i've ever seen a spoiler complete like that. nor how the OEM holes looked. have you mounted the spoiler in yet? i would love a traceout of cardboard of where the holes are exactly. that'd give me the motivation to finally install my spoiler
