It has been a very long time since I have posted anything, but I've been a long time supporter on FEOA.
I have an opportunity to buy Vogtland Suspension lowering springs for the 91-95 Escort GT 1.8L and Family. It would be a 1.2" drop.
Here is some info on Vogtland:
VOGTLAND performance lowering springs, manufactured in Germany, provide multifaceted improvements for your vehicles suspension. The comprehensive design generates a better overall appearance while making a significant improvement in performance. The compound spring rate allows for comfortable ride quality under normal driving conditions while providing maximum performance when being pushed to the limit.
VOGTLAND compound Spring Rate
As the distance of spring travel reduces, the performance demands of a spring drastically increase. Derived from racing, the VOGTLAND compound spring consists of two different spring rates. The initial rate provides the proper pre-load necessary for proper suspension function during all road conditions, and the final rate is designed to provide the appropriate vehicle balance for neutral steering characteristics. Each spring is calibrated for every specific car model, and provides a balance between performance and comfort. With lowering amounts available from 25 - 60 mm.

Would you think that there would be a good following of these cars if we produced the kits and put it back in our line up?
Might even be an option for a Coilover kits/group buy. I don't have a price, any info or guaranties. All I am doing is getting info. Plus it would have to be beneficial to Vogtland to even make them. Anyway...
Gauging interest:
Who would buy? (I know we're all on a budget, don't have a price yet)
How many racers do we have?
How many street cars?
Is there a market for it, if not should there be?
Are we all retired our escorts/family or cars or are they still alive?
Is there still a good following?
