    Wiring difference 91 to 94

So I have an off problem occurring. I have a 91 harness in my 94 EGT and it throwing two codes an 8 and 9. One is for the ECT sensor the other is for the VAF. The car will not run it has spark obviously and good fuel pressure but poor injector pulse. I have tried swapping both sensors the ecu and even running a new wire as both sensors share a common wire. I am starting to think there may possibly be another wire maybe a common ground that is not in the schematic. From what I have read there is one behind the IP but I have not torn that apart yet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man I am not an expert on wiring, nor do I have a solution for you. However I do have a factory service manual for the 91 model year and the wiring diagrams

I have access to alldata so I have seen the schematics but the ford ones are kind of speculative.

I also have the chitons manual but that doesn't have enough info in it.

I still think finding a '94 engine harness is the answer, especially if this car never ran with this harness in the past.

I think the problem is the pinout where your dash harness connects to the engine harness. Something that needs power isnt getting it, or something that's supposed to be a ground is not grounded.

I remember having issues with my 95 not matching any diagrams that i could find when i was trying to wire in the MS2 in that same area... trying to get the fuel pump relay and tach working. Of course that was almost 10 years ago sooooo off the top of my head i can't be much more help than this.
