    CPG's 1991 Mazda 323 Base

Well, I lucked into a 1991 323 Base. It's not the prettiest thing on earth but runs and drives well. I am getting it from the guy buying my wagon for the 86 323 I had. I plan to make a good Daily, that I won't mind taking down a dirt road or odd incline. I already have clear corners for it. I also scored a bunch of parts from the yard today to make it more complete. I won't be picking it up till he buys my wagon. So it will be a few weeks before there is more progress and pictures. It will be getting a few things from the wagon, like the console, cougar seats, and momo wheel. I haven't fully decided if I am going to go rally style with it. I got my hands on a set of BF GTX rally springs that come with it. I may see how they ride. Maybe upper and lower wings. Definitely some LED fog lights somewhere! Here is a couple shots of the car, needs a lot of attention but I will do what I can.

Finally picked this beast up, it has many issues but runs well! I am slowly working on her now. Got the rear hatch light and all rear interior panels installed. I am going to be swapping the cougar seats, kia console and momo wheel from my wagon this Sunday. Possibly a tach cluster and manual seat belts if my buddy does go to the junkyard Saturday well I am at work all day. I also picked up another 91 323 for my girlfriends Mom. I swapped the rear split fold seat and rear panels into mine. Going to swap the rear bumper as well. That one needs a lot of work too, both cars have wiring issues. I don't know why hacks like Mazda's lol. Here is some more pics. I have the other miata rim and 2 new tires just haven't gotten around to a mount and balance. (I had nothing to do with the paint on either, although the strip on mine has grown on me)

Mostly there is a tiny spot on the one with the strip and miata rims (mine) but its about dime size and not all the way through. Rest of it looks super clean. The other one is actually super clean. Just beat to crap sadly.

So a few weeks ago I got the tach cluster and my Momo steering wheel installed. Also got two new tires for the miata wheels so they are complete again. I swapped to a full LED cluster, and installed a temp gauge as the stock one wasn't working in the new cluster. I got the Kia console and manual belts in as well. Cougar seats finally went in today and I did something I am not sure how I feel about. I installed a P5 upper wing on the 323. It fits ok and looks well I sorta like it. I am thinking about blocking the bottom off and leaving it. Maybe it will grow on me like the stripe did. Here is a couple pictures, ill post more soon it's pouring right now.

P5 wing looks great. You just need a mid wing now. Let us know if you find an alt source for those lol

Today I went up near Denver to visit CODY004WD. He helped me swap on the rear disc brakes off his LTS and gave me the larger front brakes and a good drivers axle as well! We would have had time to put those on. If I didn't waste a bunch of time on the Trailing arms. Which he also hooked me up with some ZX2 tubular ones. I also snagged his old EGT bumper off his old KL wagon, a B&m short shifter and reactive rear strut bar. I am probably missing something. But I installed the aforementioned GT bumper. As well as the clear corners I got from Mazda_Powered. Also got more wing pic's as requested.
