    Guru's needed

So my short nose crank has finally met it's maker. I have a long nose crank for a MX5, but it does not have any of the pulleys. Now living in Africa there are not too many pulleys lying around, are there any other pulleys that will fit onto the long nose?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Long nose crank will accept the short nose pulleys as they are both 22mm cranks. You likely having a big nose(27mm) crank and yes you need the correct pulleys and oil pump. Also make sure thou get the upgraded bolt and key.

You have to take the head off first, and the right side cam belt mount off the chassis completely. It wasn't too hard in the end. With the head off it is easy to get to all the bolts at the back of the motor.

New crank in, pulleys fitted, now to get the motor back in, cold weather is not helping the cause.

Motor in, now just to bolt everything back onto it.
