poors man lsd , Limited slip differential conversion plate

I must have bored you with questions, but I found the expanses of the internet interesting thingLIMITTED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL CONVERSION PLATE
in china aliexpress about $20 but did not found for mazda, but for honda , may be market is bigger ...for honda.

Further investigation showed that the same plates exist for mazda , even for BF , unfortunately for sold for big money
But his device seems pretty simple and will be difficult to order even in workshop

Someone used this or have known who have used? I'm curious to hear opinions. Can it ever be used in Mazda?Click image for larger version

These do not produce a very effective limited slip effect, and they will actually cause the stock differential to fail even faster than it normally does. When it fails, it will blow a hole in the side of your transmission case and you'll need a whole new transmission.

Your best option for an LSD is to save up and buy a real one from Mfactory. Direct drop-in installation and it will never fail.

You may be right, but do you know who has used that plates ?

In the Internet there are many "success stories", of course this can be a market trick ....

Jon is right stay away from those Phantom Shi# units. Cruise on Yahoo Japan and wait for a Cusco to pop up or even a mazdaspeed 1.5 or 2.0 lsd. They will be pricey but really the best. Or you can buy a Miata VLSD and drop it into your BF GTX rear diff. Those are very adequate and whole lot less money. If you want to go that route I have one to let go.

Damn straight. The thing didn't work very well and the previous owner installed it wrong it almost destroyed one of the spider gears. If I'd had run it for a while longer it would have blown the transmission.
