I have the closest diagrams I could find, if your battery light is on, your getting 15-16 volts and you just ignored it than your killing your battery. I know what the problem is, I'm not getting power to the thick wire on the alternator, I jumped it and it instantly went to14.5 volts, just trying to figure out where the difference is in the two.
No I wasn't getting 15-16 bolts killing my battery. When you do this swap there is a wiring difference and the signal wire going to the dash is not getting a signal due to the the LX vs BP wiring difference.
