Purchased 2003 Mazda Protege5 with 136k last week. Manual, black leather interior. In dash factory cd changer. I think everything is factory except maybe the 17" Motegi Racing wheels.
Very pleased with the car so far. It drives like new. Factory cd player did not work and rear door speakers didn't either. I replaced the radio head unit with a new Kenwood with bluetooth and replaced the rear door speakers.
I used the forum already last week. Goldstar's thread on modifying the factory intake is great. I did all three things he said to do and it made a big difference in throttle response!

      Hello Jolene,
      Welcome to CP.

I'm glad you've found the forum useful already and that the air intake mod worked out so well for you. Most of our Forum members who've tried it report a small but noticeable improvement in performance.

      Happy Motoring!
