Which rear shock absorbers for 4wd Turbo -86 ?

    Hi,
    The car is 323 4wd Turbo HB 1986 (BF1).
Which rear shock absorbers do fit it, really?

I have tried to look at a variety of comparison tables.
This car is known in a few tables.
The tables are quite mixed and incompatible with each other.

OEM shock absorbers have not been available since 1995.
Now there has been KYB 633078 / 633079, but they are no longer available.

Which shock absorber's main dimensions are almost the same?
The car is the Klassic-registered, so only OEM styled shock absorbers are suitable.

Try the 86-87 Mazda 626. They will fit using washers to shim the inside of the mounting ears.

Lower fastening is no problem, the shim plates and a new hole. (holes distance only 55mm)
But the 626's shocks have almoust 40mm too big spring seats dia.

Now I was able to measure 626 GC1 strut.
This older model (9/82 -) seems to be suitable.
        I have to try.

How is your rear ride height? Did it go up any?

I don't know yet, because the car is not ready yet.
The main dimensions of the strut are almost the same.
If the height is not right, then I have to try a different springs.

I have the same thing with front end springs.
