new guy, with a slightly broken car

    Hi,

Just joined the forum to seek advice about replacing a rear engine mount on a mazda familia (aka protégé/323 I think).

Will have a browse of the forum to see if there's some useful info for me out there.

Anyway - this is my first post so I can post elsewhere as well.

      1997,

Don't really have the tools to fix it myself - but is there a chance it's been misdiagnosed by the testing station?

im sure theres a chance, but they are usually pretty good at diagnosing.
do you know which engine you have?? are you planning on buying tools?

I ended up getting the mechanic to fix it, in the end the labour charge was probably worth it as waiting for the a cheap part would likely have meant I wouldn't have had the car for Christmas. And I need it before then, now just to fix all the other problems!
