The Rota line are kind of light, one thing is the Rota factory paint tend to peel and crack after time. Friends sandblast them and repaint them again. Light rims indeed.

YEAH these rims, i have had them for bout a year now, they are very light, and IMO look real good.

95, 96, 97. They all came with the thin 5 spoke alloys. Can be found for about 150 bucks.

sure they're light, but they're only 5" wide.... no good.

                get a good 14 x 6 or 15 x 7

yeah, I have the miata too and its only 5.5" . Im still trying to save to get those miata bbs 14"x6" that weigh 8.5 lbs. w/ the 5.5" miata wheels that i have is alright cuz I just use it for daily and drag no need for wider tires.

As Jesse said, you need them wider. Even the difference between a 6.5" and 7" wide wheel is BIG!

                    I have some Kosei K1, 11.9lbs (or was it 12.9lbs) 15x7 38mm

1ofthefew323, i noticed on a few pics (not this thread) that you had Azenis, but not the RS Sport. But then in this thread they are the RS sports..... Maybe just 2 different pics and different times...
FYI: There are 2 styles of Azenis, ST-115 and ST-215, i don't remember which is the RS sport, but i noticed a different tread pattern on pics of your ride with Azenis. Either way, they are heavy tires, but the non popular autox tires (traditional tread pattern) are even a bit heavier due to a higher tread wear rating and different rubber compund. The RS sport has a 140 treadwear.

oh also, 99% of Miata racing wheels (spec miata included) are 6.5" wide or less.

Essentially, 15x7 wheels are your best bet for ideal handling and traction.

hmm... I posted this thread for a while already i dont know y its up again o well.

I had 15" and 14" azenis i dont know which one is rs. I'm now running t1s on the front and azenis on the back not for auto x purposes but i need a reasonable performance tires for drag under my budget so i got the t1s. Azenis is just not good for drag so i replaced it and found out this t1s is even worse o well got to live w/ it.

ahh ok, makes sense... must have been a rear tire close up and then a front shot. just something i noticed and thought was odd is all.

the big blocked tread, the not so regular looking tread is the RS sport.

the lightest wheels honda have is the 11lbs hx 14". That is y every honda fanatic have one in their garage for racing.
Sorry to say, but the lightest wheel I know that Honda made is the Civic VX. They are the same style as the HX, but a 13". Also the HF CRX alloy wheels are said to be fairly light (but very ugly!).
