it will pop off, sometimes they do get stuck on here. apply some hot air to it & pry from both finger spots it'll eventually pop off.
to me it looks like you need a new one anyway---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

Used two skinny screwdrivers to get underneath it and pop it off.
Underneath we find:
Two Hall effect sensors?
The outside one, has 4 even spaced tabs (the tabs are smaller than the spaces I think)
The inside there is one tab.
I could take a guess, but il wait for the proper explanation [emoji41]

Thanks man, that's choice! From that I found info on diy auto tune about settings and such, so put that to memory if ever the day comes.
Over the break I went to pic a part and found some goodies,
I went for a new roof trim, as mines busted from someone removing a roof rack. Only on one side and I can't de side to change the other.
Also found a stereo bracket thing, sleeve if you will, thats been missing, so now it can be held in and a face plate put on (will mess with my gauges thow I would Imagen.
And I robbed a shifter assembly from maybe a sp20? It's a 4wd wagon anyway. It seems to be shorted, but also doesn't have the same bends, so will see what I can do with that. Maybe run it while the original is sent out to be modified.
photos to follow.

you should be okay running the shorter shifter without the same bends.---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---
