Got the ZX-2 S/R shocks and Eibach springs on the car on Sunday. It's awsome!

S/R shocks and springs...rears ready to mount on the car, fronts needed the top mounts/bearings, came with the perches though - 3K miles on all parts - $278 shipped from the member Ben here on CP.
ZX-2 front shock perches/bearings/mounts/etc - everything on the top part of the shock - $3 at a local junkyard for both sides.

      So basically $281 total.

Well those wheels are my 14" Miata wheels...I put them on to prepare for a snow/ice storm last month and just left them on...they have better tread for snow/ice...I'm going to put the 16" Miata wheels back on soon...thought about doing it today but I feel lazy...maybe I'll do it though...

Yeah, that's what I want to do, cut my Eibach springs, making the car ride like crap and not sit properly. (Borat)"You are retard?".

no ****! that's mighty big gap especially up front. Bring it on down at least another few inches.

Screw that, it handles perfectly and still has a good ride quality. This is an economy car, not a race car, I don't need it to have 1" of suspension travel and bounce off of every road inperfection.

Looks badass to me. Even with the 14s.. Some of the clearance will go away with the bigger rims though right? I was only asking cuz Im looking to replace my broken stockers.

I have non-broken stock LX shocks/springs fully assembled...my car has the "hard suspension" option and I think that means they are stiffer than DXs or other LXs...they'll cost me like $30-$35 to ship, how much you want for them?

The 16"s will give the illusion of filling the clearence...they are only a fraction of an inch bigger in circumference, but the offset puts the face of the wheel/tire farther out than the 14"s. It'll look great, and I'm gonna go do that now.

I think the real question here is, How much do YOU want for them? =P

Its either yours or buy the zx srs offa that John Bleakley for $137 + Shipping, then w/e the Eibachs cost..

I understand that... but to postulate "My Protege, lowered!" is putting a pretty long tail on that kite. Get a clue

It is lowered.. About 1-1/12 Inches from stock. And he has the small ass rims on it. So it doesnt even look like it should =]

Edit: Nice 115 pull btw, hard to make out what your saying though. Couldnt see your needles either. What was your rpm start/finish?

Edit2: Are these the Eibachs I would need? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/EIBAC...spagenameZWD1V

Says 97-01 Ford Escort ZX2 Springs.

                          Thanks.

I like that stance. It will look sick with the miata wheels. Your control arms prolly sit pretty flat to. I think thats about the perfect balance between performance and good looks. Take a pic with the other rims on!!
                            Eat ****.
